FERTILITY RETREAT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Fertility Retreats Australia ~ Eden Yarra Valley   

These terms and conditions serve as an agreement between:

The Host of Fertility Retreats Australia at Eden Yarra Valley, Victoria as outlined on helenzee.com taking place from May 2nd-4th, 2025.

AND

Attendees/guests of Fertility Retreats Australia at  Yarra Valley event.

This agreement is considered read, understood and accepted once the Guest has paid the initial deposit required for Fertility Retreats Australia at Yarra Valley.

Event Booking

  • A booking for the Fertility Retreat is confirmed when your deposit or full amount is paid, whichever is first. 
  • We recommend that all guests obtain their own travel insurance once their booking is confirmed – insurance to cover all medical expenses, retreat activities, and a trip cancellation policy in the unlikely event that the retreat is canceled or in case of a personal emergency that will prevent you from attending (however this is not compulsory and is up to each individual)

Payment Policy

  • Payment must be received in full and must be made 45 days prior to the retreat commencement (due 21/03/2025) unless otherwise authorised by Synergy Fertility Retreat at Yarra Valley.
  • If a retreat booking is made within 45 days of the retreat commencement, the full fee including deposit must be paid upfront.
  • If payment of the balance is not received by the due date, the Host reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.
  • The guest is responsible for paying for all extra services not included in the retreat package. This includes if applicable flights, transfers, travel insurance, and any other activities that are not part of the retreat program.
  • Payments by credit card that incur a service fee are to be paid by the guest. 
  • No fees added to direct deposit. Email Helen at [email protected] for Direct Deposit information.
  • Alternative Payment Plans by Request.

 Cancellation Policy

  • It is the responsibility of the guest to read and understand the cancellation policy before making a reservation.
  • In the event of cancellation by the guest, regardless of the circumstances, the following cancellation fees apply:

            Refunded in full before 21st March 2025 (minus administration and processing fees $800)

            50% refund before 2nd April 2025

        No refunds after 3rd April 2025.

       *Credit card fees are non refundable

         If you booked for a couple rate, there is no refund or part refund if one person is unable to participate in all or only part of the retreat.

  • We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early under any circumstances. This includes unforeseen issues such as family-related illness, or COVID diagnosis.
  • Synergy Fertility Retreat at Eden Yarra Valley reserves the right to change or amend this policy at any time. The current policy is always applicable.

Liability

  • Fertility Retreats Australia at Yarra Valley shall not be liable for any unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our normal control, for which consequences could not have been anticipated  when exercising all due care. Such circumstances or events include, but are not limited to, pandemic outbreak, war or threat of war, riot, civil unrest, industrial disputes or strikes, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors, unavoidable technical issues  with the accommodation, transport or closure or congestion of airports, terrorist activity, natural disasters, industrial disasters, fire, theft, flooding and adverse weather conditions. In the event of any of the above, refunds and compensation payments cannot be made.
  • Fertility Retreats Australia Yarra Valley accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury, illnesses or death which may occur during the guest’s stay, during activities included in the retreat whether on the retreat site or elsewhere, or travelling to and from the Fertility Retreats Australia at Yarra Valley.
  • Fertility Retreats Australia at Yarra Valley is not liable for any injuries or losses to guests, in the use of retreat facilities or participation in activities.
  • While all care is taken, Fertility Retreats Australia at Yarra Valley cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of guests.
  • All guests must take responsibility for their own medical and physical fitness and ability to use retreat facilities and participate in activities.
  • The guest agrees that they are not to engage in any illegal activity whilst attending the retreat or bring prohibited items to the retreat (such as alcohol, drugs, weapons of any kind, sharp objects, certain flammable substances) and that Fertility Retreats Australia at Yarra Valley reserves the right to remove the guest from the retreat premises and retain 100% of the guest’s attendance fee.
  • Fertility Retreats Australia at Yarra Valley reserves the right to remove the guest from the retreat premises and retain 100% of the guest’s attendance fee in the case that the guest poses a risk to the health, safety and wellbeing of themselves, the hosts and/or the other guests as determined by the hosts.

Data Use and Protection

  • The Host of Fertility Retreats Australia at Yarra Valley may take photographs, videos, audio recordings, or other recordings during the Retreat and that the Company may use for future commercial or non-commercial purposes. The workshops will be recorded and provided to the Client as a gift by the Host. The Client has the option to not be filmed or photographed by ticking the box at the checkout page. The videographer will also gain permission on the day to ensure your preferences are honoured.
  • The Host of Fertility Retreats Australia at Yarra Valley assumes all rights to any media obtained, including but not exclusive to, video recording, audio recording, written testimonials and images.
  • Guests may not request any form of payment or compensation for Fertility Retreats Australia at Yarra Valley use of any media obtained.

 Intellectual Property

  • Any materials, resources and information obtained at the retreat are the intellectual property of Fertility Retreats Australia at Yarra Valley. The guest agrees that they will not a) alter or modify materials; b) create derivative works from the materials; or c) use our materials for commercial purposes such as selling to third parties without written permission from the Host.

Swimming Pool Waiver

Eden Yarra Valley Swimming Pool Waiver and Release of Liability Form to be read, understood and signed at the commencement of the retreat.
