Hugging. Simple one would think. Two or more people placing their arms around each other as a gesture of a greeting, solace, comfort, celebration or even reconciliation.

But have you hugged from a space of connection, with nothing to do or be, but to feel yourselves in your truest feelings in that moment? I refer to this as conscious hugging. No agenda of sexual gain, no agenda of buttering someone up. all agendas stripped and left behind.

I have experienced the transformation of hugging in my own home. I have had family stay with me, people who need a place to stay as they travel through town, and I have raised two children into adulthood. And I can say the way I have evolved my hugging has transformed my relationships and my relating to others, and my community as a whole.

In the Art of Hugging we can enter a sacred space to explore the limits as individuals and a community that limits us from hugging fully.

Can you recall a time where you hugged long enough that you felt your souls connection?

For seasoned huggers, the space will provide a sanctuary for your continual delightful hugging meditation practice and sharing in a heart felt way.

For fresh huggers who may not have experienced the magic of hugging meditation – the space is created as a safe, loving container where the authenticity of meditating through hugging is felt. There is no sexual aversion, nor is the space a ‘pick -up’ event

The hugging gratitude practice

Can you ask a person to hug for more than 20 seconds, even 1 minute for the next 8 days? By hugging with presence, the same person, over time you are able tof eell the changes that can happen to your physical and mental health. To have a person to talk and reflect as your hugging is shared over the days will allow for the sustainable changes to continue
